As most of you will know, I have a ‘shop‘ section on my blog, which is where I include links to things that I have featured in blog posts or are on my ‘wishlist’ lol. Given that I have recently moved apartments, I have been scouring my favourite websites for interior and homeware inspiration. As a result of that, I have my eye on a few bits and pieces so I thought it was about time I updated my ‘shop’ page. I thought it might also be nice to write a blog post which talks about some of the things I will be putting on it, so here we go………
SUNO for Anthropologie Vase
Given that I love to have fresh flowers in my apartment when I can, I am always on the look out for cute little vases to put them in. I generally like to break up a bunch of flowers into a number of smaller bunches that I can dot around my apartment, so smaller vases are always my preference. I love the colour and shape of this little vase from Anthropologie. It is the perfect size for a single flower, or even just a little bunch of foliage. A few stems of eucalyptus would look so nice in this too.
Anthropologie Key Mirror
Irregular shaped mirrors that once seemed to be a bit naf and ugly are having a come back and I for one am all for it. I think they can look particularly well if you group a few of them together to liven up a blank wall. I am considering doing this on one of the walls in my apartment but I need to build up my mirror collection first lol. It is something a bit different from hanging photos / prints on a wall, and in some cases it can be a cheaper option if you find the right mirrors. Charity shops are a great place to look for inexpensive but unique pieces.
An example of the kind of mirror I am on the look out for is this one from Anthropologie. I think it would look equally great hanging horizontally or vertically grouped with a few other mirrors of a similar style.
Oliver Bonas Gold & Glass Pink Velvet Trinket Boxes & Anthropologie Sweet Safari Trinket Dish
One of the very first blog posts that I wrote was all about my jewellery collection and storage. If you read that, you will know that I have far too much jewellery for one person lol, but I don’t think that that’s going to change any time soon so I love finding little trinket dishes to put bits and pieces of jewellery in.
I think these little Anthropologie safari trinket dishes are the cutest thing I have ever seen! I love the colours and the gold details. I think these would just make me smile every time I looked at them lol, they are just so adorable.
These Oliver Bonas glass trinket boxes are also gorgeous. I love the gold edge and the pink velvet lining of course. At least you can see exactly what is inside them too without having to dig through everything.
Anthropologie Anais Mug & Oliver Bonas Tamma Green Porcelain Mug
A bit like my love for jewellery, my cup addiction is probably not going anywhere any time soon! I am, however, very particular about the cups I choose. At the minute there is definitely a pastel and gold theme going on with my cup collection, so these two cups would fit right in! I absolutely love the irregular shape of the Oliver Bonas porcelain mug and the gold dots are so pretty with the green and white stripe.
The Anthropologie Anais cup is also totally gorgeous. It looks so elegant with the pretty floral design and gold rim and handle.
West Elm Open Weave Zigzag Baskets
Another recurring theme throughout my apartment at the minute is wicker and rattan. I love the simple and classic look of this kind of material, and I think it looks good in any room or space regardless of style and colour. I have a few different baskets like these dotted around my apartment for different uses. I mostly use them as plant pots (obviously with another pot inside that doesn’t have holes in it!). My latest purchase was this one from West Elm. I got the medium size and I love it! I use this one to store a couple of rolled up blankets and I love how that looks. The best news is that these are currently on sale too, making them relatively affordable despite being from West Elm which, in my opinion, is usually terrifyingly expensive.
So those are a few of the items which I plan on adding to the shop page on my blog. If anything takes your fancy you can find all of the links to everything there or within this post of course. For anyone who hasn’t been on my shop pages before you can find the links to them below. I try to keep them as updated as possible with links to all of the interior, beauty and style items that I like :).
