We’re Having A Baby!

This blog post is going to be very short and sweet but it by far the most exciting post that I have ever written 🙂 :).

A little secret that I have been keeping for over three months now is that Dan and I are expecting a wee baby :). We are absolutely over the moon and cannot wait for Baby Baker to arrive! It is due in August 2019, which at the moment feels like a lifetime away but I am sure the months will fly by!

On top of becoming pregnant, I have taken on some more hours at work so life is about to get very busy.  One thing that I really don’t want to happen is that I have to give up my blog or feel like I don’t have enough time to dedicate to it.  Producing a blog post every week, as well as regular content for my social media pages, is incredibly time consuming and time is one thing that I am going to have a lot less of.  I absolutely love writing on my blog and creating images, but to make sure that I can continue to produce content that I feel is good quality and not thrown together in a rush, I have made the decision to produce a blog post once every two weeks instead of once a week, which is what I have been doing since I started my blog two years ago.  I really feel that this will make it a lot easier for me to manage my blog alongside both work and Baby Baker, and will help me to continue to enjoy writing blog posts rather than feeling pressured to produce a post a week and risk my blog becoming a chore rather than a hobby.

With the arrival of a third person in the Baker household come mid August, I think it is fair to say that my life is about to experience quite a significant change.  With that, it is only natural that my blog content will also change to reflect what is going on in my life at that time.  Of course I will continue to write about beauty products and interior stuff as that will always be my passion, but I am guessing that there will be a little change in content along the way as my life changes and I really hope that is okay with all of you :).

That is it for my little life update.  If there are any particular posts that you would like to see from me in the upcoming months then please do let me know :).  Whether they are my usual kind of posts or baby related posts, I am open to all suggestions :).
